Beginning in the 2007-08 season, Cantus Novus has sponsored student interns from Council Rock North High School, Newtown, PA. Four students are selected and invited to sing for the season as full members of Cantus Novus. Only students with aspirations to a career in music are chosen. Graduates of the internship program are continuing their education as majors in vocal performance and music education in schools such as Penn State and Mansfield University of Pennsylvania.

This program benefits both the chorus and the students. The chorus gains fresh, youthful, enthusiastic voices while the students are given an opportunity to stretch their musical development and performance skills by joining seasoned, trained, and knowledgeable singers.
